On the MSW landfill ”Pasynkovo“ in Vologda region a Reverse osmosis plant with a capacity of 120 m3/24h was recently installed. Due to the membrane technologies the leachate can be cleaned to process water, which can be discharged directly into rivers or lakes or simply be used for own needs at the landfill site. This way the leachate is treated an environmentally safe way and presents no longer a harm to the environment.
